Jessica Parks, MA, LPCC
Individual Therapist
Life can be really tough sometimes. When we’re facing our hardest moments, we can feel stuck, confused, and unsure of how to move forward. Anxiety, depression, panic, or feeling “frozen” are all natural responses to the stress and trauma many of us go through. But you’re not alone! I’m here to help you find your way to self-compassion, healing, growth, and, ultimately, a thriving life.
My approach is grounded in the belief that we all have a deep need to be seen, known, and loved. I believe healing happens through safe, supportive connection and by gently welcoming the parts of ourselves we’ve had to hide or protect in order to cope. In our work together, I help clients process the emotional and physical effects of stress and trauma so that their minds and bodies can move toward greater peace and balance.
Using parts work, Brainspotting, and mindfulness, I guide clients in healing past wounds, regulating the nervous system, and moving toward wholeness and deeper connection. The theoretical underpinnings of my work are attachment-based, trauma-informed, somatic & parts-oriented therapy. I integrate spirituality and faith or religious values upon request.
I’m certified in Brainspotting, and carry additional certification in Prepare/Enrich, an assessment used for couples. For couples work, I blend attachment-based approaches with Gottman principles to help strengthen your relationship.
