Reduced Rate Counseling in Denver

low-cost, High-quality therapy at a price that works for you

At Green Mountain Counseling, we believe quality mental health care should be accessible to everyone. Our Affordable Counseling Program offers reduced rate therapy sessions with graduate-level clinical interns who are completing the final stages of their Master’s degrees. They provide meaningful, attentive care under the supervision of licensed therapists—making therapy easier to access, without the financial strain.

Cost shouldn’t prevent anyone from receiving mental health support. Reduced rate sessions help bridge the gap for individuals and couples seeking quality therapy at a more accessible rate.

Reduced rate sessions are designed for:

  • Individuals without insurance coverage

  • People with high deductibles or limited mental health coverage

  • Anyone seeking therapy services at a lower cost

Our pre-licensed therapists bring fresh perspectives, deep compassion, and current knowledge from their graduate programs to the therapy room. Under the guidance of our fully licensed clinical supervisors, they provide meaningful, attentive care at a reduced rate — so you don’t have to choose between your mental health and your budget.

What to Expect

skilled Graduate-Level Clinicians

Our Affordable Counseling Program is staffed by Master’s-level interns who are completing the final stage of their clinical training. They’ve already completed extensive coursework, hands-on practice, and skills development, as well as often having completed years of experience in other varied professional fields. Our interns bring curiosity, compassion, and dedication to their work with clients.

Ongoing Licensed Supervision

Each clinician receives weekly supervision from a fully licensed therapist supervisor. This ensures that every client benefits not only from the care of their therapist, but also from the experience and guidance of our senior clinical team.

Reduced, Transparent Fees

Therapy through this program is offered at a standard rate of $85 per session, making it more affordable than traditional counseling fees. For clients with increased need, rates can be adjusted as low as $40 per session. We’re committed to helping everyone access the care they deserve.

Same Quality of Care, More Accessible

While the cost is lower, the quality of support is the same. Clients in this program receive the same thoughtful, client-centered approach that defines all of Green Mountain Counseling.
