Master’s Level Counseling Intern

therapeutic approach

I believe each person is the expert in their own experience and has an inherent capacity to grow, heal, and create meaningful change. Therapy is a collaborative process, and I value creating a space where you feel heard, respected, and empowered to explore your experiences at your own pace. My approach is grounded in person-centered principles and integrates psychodynamic, narrative, and somatic frameworks to support a deeper understanding of yourself and your experiences.

Our past experiences often shape the meaning we assign to what is happening in our lives today. Together, we can explore how your experiences have influenced the stories you hold about yourself, your relationships, and the world around you. Through this process, we can identify patterns, deepen self-awareness, and develop new perspectives that feel more adaptive and supportive.

I strive to create a compassionate, nonjudgmental space where you can feel safe exploring both the challenges and strengths within your story. Rather than approaching therapy with a one-size-fits-all model, I tailor our work to your individual needs, experiences, and goals. My hope is that through our work together, you will gain greater insight into yourself, feel more connected to your own strengths and experiences, and feel better equipped to navigate life’s challenges with greater intention and self-understanding.
